Bridges of Good Work

Bridges of Good Work

Client:

Hearst Pittsburgh

Project Overview:
Bridges of Good Work is a storytelling platform that celebrates the impact of community-driven organizations and businesses in Pittsburgh and beyond. The site highlights real stories of people and companies doing transformative work, creating a ripple effect of positive change across industries and neighborhoods.

My Contributions:
As the sole creative lead on this project, I was responsible for the end-to-end execution of the website, including:

  • Web Design & Development:
I conceptualized and designed a clean, responsive site that reflects the authenticity and optimism of the stories it tells. Focus was placed on intuitive navigation, accessibility, and mobile-first performance to ensure an inclusive experience for all users.

  • Video Production:
I produced, filmed, and edited original video content that brings each story to life through compelling visuals and narrative pacing. Each video was crafted to evoke emotion while maintaining journalistic integrity.

  • Graphic Design:
From custom iconography and banners to branded content layouts, I created a consistent visual identity that aligns with the site’s mission and message.

  • Copywriting:
I authored all site copy, including mission statements, story intros, CTAs, and metadata. The tone was designed to be human, hopeful, and community-centric, echoing the values of the organizations featured.

Purpose & Impact:
Bridges of Good Work serves as both an inspiration hub and a resource center for community engagement. It elevates the visibility of local initiatives and encourages collaboration across sectors. The site not only informs but also invites users to take part in building bridges of good work in their own communities.
